Some polls are actually intended to gather information. This one is going to be a straight-up popularity contest, no question about it.

Exactly Fred...this survey should be retitled "What borough are you from" because it will only tell you how many people from each borough are on city-data.

Not necessarily... I live and work in The Bronx but I voted for Staten Island because I feel sorry for them after someone posted a thread a few days ago suggesting that we dump them!

So SI has a vote that it wouldn't have had and The Bronx is missing one that would have had .

I live in Manhattan but voted for Brooklyn as I am trying to move there when my lease is up.

I was born in Brooklyn and lived there when I was young, but then I moved to Queens. I now live on Long Island. I voted for Queens because it is probably the most livable of the boroughs. Crossing the bridge to Staten Island can get annoying. Manhattan is great to visit, it has the most attractions, but you need a rest from the crowded city sometimes. Brooklyn has some nice pizza places, Prospect Park and downtown, where parking is rare. But, Brooklyn has a lot bad neighborhoods. Queens is mostly safe, its not too urbanized and offers the most comfortable living enviorment, there are people from different backrounds throughout.
