Hi,

I heard in Astoria I could get an apartment in a nice full service building for less than 1800. Does anyone know any websites or complexes i can check out online. I am just looking for a small studio or 1 bedroom but I would love to have all the amenities that I cant get in Manhattan for that price. If I could find it for 1500 that would be great as well! thank you in advance

Hmmm no that website is not what I am looking for. I don't want to be in contact with brokers I want a website that is directly linked to the owner or complex. No middle man wanted.

There are at least half a dozen brand new buildings that have just gone up--or are in the process of being constructed--within two or three blocks of the elevated platform at Queensboro Plaza. Take the N or #7 train there, and see for yourself! (Technically, that's Long Island City and not Astoria, but if you stay on the N heading up towards Ditmars Boulevard, you can see several more new buildings along the way).
