you got to come to new york, we need your money lol
Indeed nice pics. I'm imagining taking a cross country trip and eating at Chevys when there are so many other choices. I like SoHo and the Village better than midtown. Times Square, in all its multi-media glory, is a cliche'. Ah progress...
Great pics. You should come out to Belmont Park and use your skills on the exquisite horses and death defying jockeys. I would love to see your work on that subject.
Great photos. It's fun to play tourist. A few friends of mine did that and went to Rockefeller Center during the Christmas season '08. I hadn't done it in so long, I had a blast.

we went to belmont a few years ago but to tell you the truth we were bored stiff most of the time.. there is just tooooo much down time between anything happening for my taste.
you have the race which last a few minutes and then nothing...at least if that had some entertainment inbetween to hold my attention i might have enjoyed it more... it kind of reminded me of baseball where more ofton then not nothings happening then somethings happening...

The trick is get into the rhythm of the track and stay engaged. The track is not a passive experience like watching a ball game or a TV show. Start at the paddock to scope the horses while they are being prepared to race. A good place to take pics too. When the horses leave the paddock so do you. As the horses hit the track this is the time to formulate the wagers and get the brain working. Then watch the races from the rail or high up from the grandstand through binoculars. I think you could take some fabulous pics there and a have a great day. something like these.
