Also, I really want to move to NYC for college. My family will not let me go to NYU no matter what. Columbia is too hard to get into. All the other colleges, except Fordham, do not offer what I am looking for. Is the area of the Bronx that Fordham occupies in a better or worse part of the borough? I am a 5'7", white, and extremely unthreatening looking male. Would I have problems with crime?

If you have any other input on Fordham, please tell me. Anything to do in the area? Public transportation? Etc....

The area around Fordham not so great. The school itself is good but once you leave campus the surrounding territory is garbage.

They both sound bad. LOL.

But regarding the theology course--If it is heavily Catholic-based IDK if Fordham will work for me. I did find out that my ACT scores are good enough for NYU and Columbia though, but I will still try for Fordham simply to be in NYC.

Hmmm well honestly you could probably ask around and figure out which professors try to incorporate different religions into their teaching... I know that my professor was Protestant and he taught about everything. But even if you're not Catholic, it's interesting to learn about the religion itself. They're not going to force you to believe it. It's just the study of the religion.

Seriously, one theology course should not deter you from going. It's so worth it.

I have always heard Bronxite, I believe, unless you reside in Riverdale, when it changes to Riverdaleian as soon as you're up the hill.

Default it's the

corridor west of Webster Avenue that is bad. The immediate area south of the Univ is decent to about 183 or so
