Anyone use AT&T? I can get a good package through my company, but wanted to know if the service is good.
Also, how much to start off with a one year plan instead of a two year plan? I heard it was more expensive that way, but I do not want to be shackled by a company for that long.

Thanks!
AT&T is real good, but probably the most expensive company. The plan is up to you... just know that the initial charge for the phone itself is always cheaper with the two year contract.
I have it. Have had it for about a month and a half. I decided to switch after I felt verizon was taking me to the cleaners.
Very happy with it so far. No dropped calls. I have a nice phone. It's not a smartphone or anything but it gets the job done and it is pretty great for texting. I've even used it a little outside the NYC limits and have not noticed any disruption in service. When I first got it, a lot of people were making fun of me and were asking like why the hell I got it. I feel like the joke is on them, because I no longer feel like I'm getting ripped off. No contract and I get everything unlimited...
I would love to switch over to Metro PCS but my only gripe is that the phones don't work in Europe. Thats my biggest gripe in not switching over. I have T-mobile right now and I like it how when I'm overseas in somewhat of a rural area my phone switches over to Vodafone and I don't get charged roaming fees(!!!!). Plus the international pricing has come in handy for me, but I still I feel like i'm getting taken the the cleaners.
I've noticed that Metro works really well in the city but when you hit some places in northern westchester its like a permanent dead zone. The service works pretty good in Philly from what i've seen there as well.
I have Metro PCS and I honestly haven't had much problems with it so far. Its a new company so like all things new, it's developing and through time will progress (hopefully). I only pay 48 dollars (it would be 45 but they charge you 3 dollars if you pay your bill at a Metro PCS store otherwise it'll be free of cost online to pay my bill) and I can call, text and even be on AIM or Yahoo messenger for unlimited without ANY extra B.S. charges. Their phone need some updating but they do have the messenger (which I have) and the messenger II which are good phones. They have the Samsung Finesse, which is a very sexy and great phone but its WAY too expensive right now.
From my personal experience I would recommend Metro PCS, you can save money and its a young company.
