New York still has industries like Finance and Entertainment and thus it is weathering the Recession better than Middle 'Merca.
Most of the rest of Amererica has shut down.

Notice there was not a single city from the Northeast in the list?

If Philadelphia isn't there, the list makes no sense. Philadelphia is miserable even in good times.

Why? Our economy has feared better than every other big city and the housing crisis barely affected us. Not to mention our crime rate isn't high.

If any city from the northeast should be on there it's Camden. Philly, while it has it's problems for sure, is a good town in many ways.

I'm actually happy this list shows how miserable Miami is beside South Beach and Downtown Miami is a terrible city imo I hated living there, and we weren't even poor.
