But does anyone know if you can bring a DSLR camera into CitiField? I'm taking my nephews to the game on Sunday for their graduation present and plan on bringing my camera, but I've heard that sporting events do not allow DSLR cameras (only point-and-shoot) into the stadium.
Thanks, I saw that but it doesn't say anything about DSLR cameras. It says video cameras are not allowed, but I am not bringing a camcorder - so it is not very clear?
Its probably allowed. "Security Consideration" is a terrible excuse that 9/11 have afforded companies to make. The real reason your not allowed to bring video cameras to games (although really, everything these days captures video, so who would know) is because the mets want licensing rights for games their involved in.
No one even looked at my camera when we went 2 weeks ago. I'm not familiar with terminology, but I have a digital that can take short video. They are looking for weapons and alcohol when they check your bags. If you have kids with you, go to a lady screener, they let you in with just about anything that can't injure someone.
