There's always Oct.
At least you don't have to give 30days notice and move 1100 Miles.
I've been glued to the Forums, so I know what how much time I have left.
@mtahopefull, dude, dont worry, from what I heard there is a high demand for T/O's. They are going through #'s qiuckly. Its still early. I got my call on the last days of July to show up 1st week of Aug. Be patient. They will call you.
For the guys either coming in for Sept, or are waiting, here are some things to keep in mind
1.Attendance & lateness is frowned upon. If you have problems getting places, better curb that now.
2. Invest in a good solid backpack. You'll see what I mean.
3. If you have a problem working odd hours / shifts or you need weekends off, this is not the job for you. Get in all free time with loved ones now, cause when you start, the job is your life.
Bring your photo id, & everything they gave you at processing. I put all those in a backpack & brought it with me. Good thing too, never know.what they are gonna ask for. Black pens. Dress appropriately & get there early.
To chachee just bring your 21 page booklet completely fill out.
Hes done with the 21 page booklet. He's talking about orientation. Bring everything they gave you because when it comes to filing out medical documents and beneficiary stuff, thats all in the purple folder with the union stuff. Also even though you wont be in school car till Thursday of that week, carry your rule book on all days. Trust this, thats one thing you must have on you at all times.
Thank you WestEndMan. Also Ive been reading this whole thread and in the begining people mentioned something about leaving training after the 3 and 1/2 months or the 6months and returning for another 3 months is that still going on. I know Div A training is the shortest but I read that after training and after you're on your own theres another few months of practice is this true? Thanks for all the advice
