Hi everyone! My husband just got a letter in the mail asking him to come in (in 6 days) bc he is being considered for train operator position. Exam # 8098 not sure what that means.
Anyway, we live across the Country now and we barely have any notice for him to get back out to NYC by Wednesday! Would they let him come at a different time? Or is it now or never? Also, he doesn't want to burn bridges at his current job in case this doesn't work out. If he could stay at his current job for 6 more months then he wouldn't be leaving on bad terms. Can anyone please tell me if they allow you to postpone the training process?
Also if he goes out there next week will he get drug tested that day? I only ask because it would be nice to get as much done at a time since he has to fly there. Will he have to fly back for the medical examination too? I wish we lived closer! Thank you!!
After reading pretty much this entire forum.. I have found he answers to my questions. Pretty clueless before reading all of your posts! Haha
My husbands number was in the 5,000 test 8098 take almost 7 years ago!!! He just got called in for drug test (tomorrow morning)
I've read that some people have to go back to d/t twice or even more??? He flew all the way out there... I'm hoping this is the first and only time and he will get called for medical processing. How long until he would have to drug test again? (He's definitely clean)
Seems like this post is dead.. No comments in months.. Why!? Lol
