If it's a letter it is for drug test. They will call you for medical and interview after it comes back. Usually a week or so. No interview the first time, even though it states it on the letter. Believe me, my range is 410-420 I just now cleared medical hold. Gl hope to see you in April class. Get all those ducks in a row.
For those of you waiting to be hired be patient. After speaking with a TSS today there are around 1000 train operators expected to retire in the next 18-24 months. Combine that with the freeze on hiring in 2010 and you have the reason for the mass hiring going on now. They will be hiring off this list for a while. From what I understand the only reason they are not hiring faster is that they don't have enough instructors to cover all of the classes.
just some info, I am #17 of the folks that either cleared medical or re instated their name on the list I am list number 410-420 range. Some promos are on that list too. not sure how many are behind me on this reinstated/cleared list. Just wanted to put that out there.
