My mother signed over her nycha apt to me in 2009 she moved to a family members house and somehow had a meeting with the management office and put her name back on my lease is that possible i was told once an apt is signed over the person could not be added to the lease again they would have to apply for nycha again

I live in a NYCHA unit and lost my job. Is there is any rights that I should know about that will help me keep my apartment. I am pregnant and have a son. Even though I am a nycha resident, can I obtain a section 8 voucher through housing in order to pay my rent? Please respond asap. Thanks

I was offered recently a 3 bedroom apartment in a development at Ocean Bay in Far Rockway. They said its an Outreach Program. What does that program means! I don't like the project site. They said if I don't accept this offer then my application will remain in the waiting list and be processed in the normal way. I heard they usually offer 2 or 3 options to choose from. But here in my case, my option is only one. Can anybody explain this facts! And what should the best for me to do!
