Not at Bay Plaza, but there are hotels in New Rochelle, which about 10 minutes from Co-Op City.

I would agree with the above posters: Bay Plaza is in Co-op city, a working class community. It is nothing more than a major shopping corridor, with Barnes & Noble, JC Penny, Red Lobster, AppleBees, K-Mart, Panera, Pathmark, Cinema, Gamestop, and a bunch of other large and small retailers. It is essentially a large, suburban outdoor mall/shopping plaza with a gigantic parking lot. Traffic getting out of there is bad, and I would DEFINITLEY avoid the area during X-mas time (on weekends)...the traffic is BAD. It is quite safe, and right off the highway.
bay plaza shopping center is ok. while co-op city has its faults.
