Is the area around Northern Blvd, by the R/V train safe?

I used to live half a block up from Big 6, on 59th Place. Nice area and a beautiful block, but break-ins/burglaries were definitely a problem when I lived there. Don't know if it's better now.

Drug activity, on the other hand, I never noticed.

There's drug activity in every neighborhood, whether you see it or not.

As a local you take notice things that change around the neighborhood and there's heavy policing by detectives esp around the key food

I see unmarked police cars around there also, mainly making traffic stops but as far as a drug spot goes the Metro motel on 73-00 Queens Blvd is it. They used to house the homeless there awhile ago, that place is still an eyesore and a dump.
