Hi All, I orginally heard back from them and had my first interview in March 2010 and had to turn in all my paperwork at the end of that month. I don't think I heard back from them again until June/July when they told me I could come see the apartments and do a walk through and pick out a unit. Then I went to sign my lease in early August and my move in date was pushed back twice by the building, but I will finally be moving in less than a month. I think because we are dealing with NYC it takes longer cause they have to confirm all you income information. The first building already has people living in it and now the second building (488) is moving people in. They indicated that the third and forth buildings wouldn't be finished and moving people in until the end of the year. Also, some of you aren't clear about which Phase you applied for because that will also make a difference.

You're in the first phase like the rest of us. The deadline for the second phase was Aug 15th and I doubt they've gotten to those applications yet since we're still waiting and our deadline was December of last year.

I emailed Ms. James for an update on things. I'll post her feedback as soon as she gets back to me.

Hey that's great. I would like to actually see the inside of one of the units. Can anyone take pics and post on here? I think we would all like to see the finishes, bathrooms, kitchens, views, etc. That would be awesome!

YAY Jomi! I got a call this morning too but I scheduled to view it on Monday. We ARE going to be neighbors soon! I'm shooting for an Oct 1st move in, anything sooner would be too soon.

Hi Everyone,
So unfortunately my phone died by the time I got to the leasing office and I wasn't able to take pics but I'm going to describe the apt as best as I can. I viewed a 2 bedroom apt at 488 E. 163rd location...its hardwood flrs in the apt but dark wood not light like the pics avaiable on their website (fyi: THE LAYOUTS ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE FOR DELUXE APTS.) Theres a full bathroom and a half bathroom for the 2 bdrm layout...once you walk in the apt, theres a small closet and the bedrooms aren't huge...they're a decent size...the master bedroom has a closet and can fit a queen bed and dresser, the 2nd bedroom's closet is a just a bit smaller than the master....both rooms have 1 window and theres AC units as well as the heaters. By the 2nd bathroom, there is a linen closet. The kitchen is just like the model shown in the leasing office except its not as long...the living room has an ac unit and heater unit as well and theres a small alcove for your dining area. I checked the laundry room, which is cool and the prices were $1.35 for wash and $1.55 for drying...which I thought was reasonable. The lobby of the bldg looks nice but is still being finished as were the elevators. The community room which is located on the main floor is BIG and there's also roof acess but I wasn't able to view it just yet. I asked about all the other amenities which will be made available in the other sites and was told all tenants will be given access cards. They are expecting the entire North Rose to be complete by Spring 2011.

FYI they do not allow move ins on the weekends...they have time slots for during the week. I was told I would be contacted in 2 business days to come in and sign lease and pick move in date and time slot.
