lisa0422.... If you left your deposit than that means you have the apartment. I just find it strange that they havent even submitted your documents to the city to be scanned but already were asked for your deposit. Normally you bring all documents to the initial interview, then they're submitted to the city. That process alone takes quite some time. Usually you would get a call a few months later saying you were approved. Or a call in between time asking for additional documents. From there you would come in to choose an apartment and a move in date. If you have time to read previous post you can see that we all waited anywhere from 3 months to pretty much a year. Who knows maybe they're doing things different now! Best of luck.

Again...Gooseneck..anything to contribute? You do realize there are lots of GOOD things happening in this neighborhood, yet you choose to ignore that. Funny.

Gooseneck did you not qualify for an apt here or something? Now I know the area surrounding Northrose is far from being crime free, you seem to spend a lot of time pointing that out. Either you're sour about something, or have way too much time on your hands.

Yes I did turn it down. Bedrooms were too small, and the neighborhood was indeed a big step down from where I currently live. I dont come here day after day to post crime statistics though. I know its not a great area. What are you trying to accomplish by continuously posting the crime stats?

Another Innocent
Another Innocent Bronx Teen Shot, Killed: Gothamist
Bronx Teen Shot, Killed

This is a pretty crazy time to be a teenager in the Bronx. Another adolescent was gunned down this weekend — this time fatally — with a bullet meant for someone else.
According to WABC, 17-year-old Issi Ariel Dominguez was walking home from a party early Sunday morning when a gunman fired into a crowd of people, striking the teen in the head at the corner of East 182nd Street and Valentine Avenue — less than a block from his home. Police and relatives told ABC that Dominguez was likely killed over an altercation that he wasn't involved in. "He was in the wrong place at the wrong time," his sister said.
According to detectives, Dominguez may have been standing in a group alongside individuals who may have been involved in a stabbing two weeks ago. The Post reports that as many as three gunmen opened fire on the crowd at around 2:10 a.m. and shot the teen — who was "as clean as a whistle" with no criminal record — in the head, while the Daily News says he was gunned down "execution-style." There is a video tribute to Dominguez here. This shooting comes two weeks after Bronx 15-year-old Vada Vasquez was shot in the head with a stray bullet, and just a day after a Bronx 16-year-old girl was hit with another errant shot.

He is just crazy...and has some vendetta against the Northrose (probably a rejection). Dude move on, just fix your credit, or get a better job and then reapply or try to apply for another affordable housing development. Wasting your time on here with silly posts is sad.

My vendetta is against real estate people that lie and hide the facts and will do anything for a dollar and couldn't careless about the safety of the tenants.

Sobroguy you work in Manhattan in real estate are you more interested in lining your pockets or the safety of the people you try to sell on the South Bronx.

Are you affiliated with the Atlantic Development Group on 5th Avenue in Manhattan that is the money behind Northrose ?

As you can see below; this is typical- Sobroguy didn't even answer the guys question who is moving into Courtlandt Corners on 161st and Melrose.

He didn't tell him that there is strip club and heavy drug dealing
on the same block,NO

He didn't tell him the apt is a couple of blocks away from the Air Rights Projects and that in the hot summer days the crime goes up, NO

He doesn't warn the guy to be careful and be alert.NO

He just tells the guy the area is great come done don't worry.

And if the guy or the guys child gets shot while playing out side from a gun fight in the projects (a bullet can travel a mile and kill) 2 blocks away Sobroguy doesn't care as long as he lines his pocket with money.
