I didn't get a home visit. It seems like they are skipping that step. In my case after my interview, they seemed to move quickly with the employement verification ect. Then it was about 5 or 6 weeks of watching paint dry, with no activity at all. Then i called and left a vm asking for an update. When They didn't call back, my friends were bothering me to call again, but i didnt want to be a pest. Then about a week and a half after I left the vm they called me for orientation. It is an agonizing process theres no way to sugar coat it. :P

Hi. If your name was the only one on the application, then you're the only one that can occupy the studio for the length of the lease. Either 14 or 28 days is the most you can have a guest stay with you. When you sign the lease, it states that you (the person who's name is on the application) will be the only one living there. Violation of those terms are grounds for lease termination and dismissal. It's probably a different scenario if you decide to bring someone to live with you after the lease is up. You'll probably pay market rate since you won't qualify anymore for affordable housing.
