I know it's in a nice location and all, but is it difficult to get in? My friend really wants to go here but unfortunately his GPA is only around a 2.01-2.05, and his combined score of Reading and Math is only a flat 1000. I'm interested too but my GPA isn't so great either and my SAT's are average/mediocre. I'm wondering if it's hard at all to get into this university.

If you go to their website, they should have admissions requirements or at least a profile of admitted students to the last freshman class. In general, Pace is not considered a very selective school, but those scores are rather low. Your friend should consider going to community college for a year or two and then transfer to a 4 year college.

Well MY gpa is about a 2.1 and my SAT's are a 1640/2400, 1000 combined as well for Math + CR. However, I wrote a pretty strong college essay and I have some extracurriculars/outside activities. Do I have a shot at Pace or no? I visited and I loved the school.

If you don't need a sholarship, you may get in. The community college transfer route may be a better option.
