Does anyone remember the homeless couple "Liz and Ronnie" who used to hang out on the corner of St. Mark's and 1st Avenue? She was a scraggly blonde and he was gaunt rastafarian who used to ride a bike.

They aren't still homeless are they? Was Ronnie a Jamaican Rasta or a blonde as well?
Yes, I remember the Aztec. Between Ave A and First. On Ninth St. It was mad dark and mad cool. No one gave you a hard time even if you were just walking in to use the mens room ( which was covered with graffiti). Other spots popular at that time were: Village Idiot on First, Cherry Tavern on Sixth, The Pyramid I think is still on Ave. A. Blanches on A around the corner from the Aztec, and the one on A and Seventh St.(not 7A). Yeah those were the days!!!
I remember The World on 2nd and Ave C. Of course ROBOTS. How about Milky Way down on Rivington...And Yeah breakfast at Kiev or Astor Riviera...Yeah Im old TOO......
