I am starting to think that maybe he is. Not sure if can hold serve but he is scoring points and doesn't have to be beholden to any special interest groups like every money grubber in both the House and the Senate.

And he gets things done. He has more OJT for running something real than BO, who never ran anything. I was going to add "but his mouth" but decided not to, this being a seriously left leaning state.

But, if he was on the ticket, is there a chance that NY could be a swing state and could he possibly carry the state?

I rather vote for Trump than more career politicians that work for corporations. All the companies have their purses lined up for their preferred candidates like Bush, Clinton, Walker, even Christie because they want corporate favors and welfare to continue.

Trump is the only one that does not take corporate donations which is why the other candidates and donors are running scared their millions of donations will go to waste if Trump takes the GOP nomination.

Let's all vote Trump and cleanup career politicians and liars.

Trump is an clown not to be taken seriously. He knows he is one step away from that third shoe meant for Bush to fly right into his head. I guarantee somebody will shoe Trump for his garbage. I wish it was funny like it was in the 1970's with pies ( yes a mayor got pied in the face and it was coo ). But nowadays after 2001 they take apart the melting pot and Trump is just making an performance BECAUSE HE IS NOT ROSS PERRO ( whatever his name is ). Thinking about how the mayor got a pie to his face makes me think how stupid everything is nowadays. I miss how simple things was. I miss when the President was on his sax with Monica humming the presidential recorder.

Trump is a clown, but he is bringing some good issues to the debate. As a president though you need someone with a much more even temperment, Trump is a loose cannon who is only interested in himself.

Trump is definitely the real deal.

He is absolutely representative of various aspects of the predatory culture in which we live.

In fact, I don't think I could find a more useful exemplar there than Donald Trump.

I think Trump is a clown. But I'd vote for him any time over Sanders (or Hillary for that matter.)

Both would continue the drive to destroy the US that Obama has started. As an unabashed socialist, Sanders would do it slightly faster than the Hildabeast. Neither are acceptable.

In the U.S. a socialist is defined as someone who does not want to destroy Social Security TOO fast.

Worth considering.

If you cast too much faith in any of the possible directions it is likely that you will be disappointed.

Trump, aside from being an asinine, intemperate, loud-mouthed liar, is also a businessman, and top business people have a lousy record in politics because, IMO, they think they can run a state, or city, or country, like they run a company -- and it's impossible to do that. Any big corporation can be run (well or badly) by two or three guys sitting in a conference room. You can't do that in public life. It's a different set of managerial skills--dealing with the media and constituency groups and doing much of your work work in public rather than private--that most business people don't have.

Mayor Bloomberg is arguably the only top business person in recent history who has been successful at moving from the top of the private sphere to the top of the public sphere. But John Corzine was a failure in NJ and Mitt Romney was moderately good in Massachusetts but couldn't win the presidency. I don't know about Rick Scott, gov of Florida. Meanwhile the landscape is littered with business people who figured they could run a city or state, spsent tons of money to do it, and barely registered with voters.
