I am a brown man (Pakistani stock) and I have been thru Harlem. I never felt any anti brown feeling. Maybe cos I didnt exude an arrogance or dislike of black folk, I dont know. Could be we shared many views. Damn, they got me hooked on Ice Cube FFS.

So, Blacks are no longer the majority in Harlem. Similarly, Whites are no longer the majority in all of New York. So what? People move, people settle, cities change, the world changes, life goes on.

Harlem used to be all-White, too. When Blacks moved in, good for them: they were able to find good housing stock at cheap prices.

Chinatown used to be Jewish and Italian. When Chinese moved in, good for them: they set up businesses and flourished.

Does it? Not when more than 50% of the offices in Manhattan are almost 100% white (aside from the lowest paying jobs) in a city where the labor pool is heavily non white. Try the advertising industry as an example. People who will claim to be liberal, that they are being heavily monitored by the NYC govt for lack of diversity.
