How long after taking the medical will you find out the results? Also how long after passing the medical will you know you have the job or not? I have my cdl license already with the endorsements. The only thing I have against me is my record, I have five arrest and I am currently on probation, will that be a factor?

You usually can call about a week after you have completed everything but I don't know if HR is backed up due to the influx of all the candidates. If you fail the medical they cannot discuss it over the phone but you will receive a written notice detailing the reason and appeal process. Once the medical is completed it depends on your list number. You usually will be notified a week or two prior to final processing and at final processing you will be given your expected start date for FBF. Probation could be a problem depending on the offense. I know DWIs within the last year or two could pose a problem.

You do have to show photo ID. They can't do it online because it has to be sealed and stamped/signed by the court clerk. To be honest if you have the money to spare get a few copies just to have saved in case you need them in the future

A word of advise. When you get on this job dont tell anyone that you are or were on probation for burglary. Sanitation workers are worse then women, cant keep their mouths closed.
I think you're not going to have a problem getting into a class. Sept. class is closed but they're putting 250 more into the Oct. and Nov. class. They've called up to 1700+, you being at 1300+ I think there's a good shot. Good luck!
