Seniority is based on the appointment date and then the list number. The lower list numbers(#125 is senior to#126,#126 is senior to #127 etc) are senior within the same hiring date. Regardless of list numbers, anyone appointed on a later date is junior.

Do they ever answer the phone at H.R ? I called to see if my med results were in yet. finally left a message, and nobody has called back, is this a bad sign.

8am apx 25 ppl were taken into the 10th FL. They take your 20 page packet and check for mistakes and missing info. They call you out to correct any hi-lited info. They check your cdl, birth cert or psprt, residency mail etc and ur postal M O. Then you get a big packet to go through with an HR rep. It has w-4 and city tax forms, fingerprint cards, and a bunch of other stuff to sign and date and address. Then photos for ur ID. You dont get to keep it today but you gett to see it to be sure your name is spelled correctly. Then ur fingerprinted. Then they give you another packet about health plan and pension, you take that home to fill out but they review it for a few minutes. You get your "Report to FBF" papers and you are dismissed. Don't think I left anything out but if you were there today, feel free to correct me. Good luck to all and thank you for the congrats and all the info from others on this board.
