I keep hearing how theres a hiring quota that the san.dept or city has to satisfy from test 6063...does anyone know what number this is?...my list number is in the mid 1400's..wondering if the extension to 2014 will make adifference also?

i feel your pain..i got a list number in the 12** and granted the list was extended but i just feel sometimes im never gonna even get called for this job so im hopin there is a quota and im hopin its big enough to go past my list # cause it would be sad to do good on a test and not even have a shot at the job...if anybody hears anything please post the information and hopefully its accurate
I am list #73x. I hope you are right Meatball. I will definately be getting one of those medical letters if they indeed went out. Nothing in todays mail. Will update again tomorrow. Fingers Crossed.
No Medical Appointment in the mail today......If it does not show up tomorrow I will assume th esupposed Monday mail-out was all rumors.....check back tomorrow.

well the only news i have is that transfers have been opened as of tomorrow so dont know what that means but i hope ya get in and i get to transfer soon!!!!!!!!!! And i called HR they didnt send out nothing just a rumor. Sorry
If xfers are open it means that when they close xfers they will be getting ready for a new class
