Hi,

I'm moving to Brooklyn for a new job at Kings County Hospital next month and I'm trying to use craigslist to find an apartment. One of the places I'm interested in is on Albermarle Road at Ocean Ave. Is this safe area?? The post has it labeled as being in Ditmas Park/Kensington, but from the map it looks more like either Prospect Park South or Flatbush. As a newcomer to Brooklyn, I have no idea what streets separate the different neighborhoods. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks.

My best friend lives right there and I haven't had good experiences there... And this was in the daytime. We walked down east 18th and then through tennis court to get to Ocean Avenue because he called it a "shortcut"... Don't do that, those blocks really creeped me out
