I saw this place last night:

Open House 6-9PM TONIGHT! These are FABULOUS condos!! (http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/reo/1749327823.html - broken link)

Was interesting, been on the market for two weeks (two buildings) all units are vacant. The one I liked is out of my range at $339k, looking for sub $300k. Do you think these units are worth it? It's literally up the block from the C train.

Rest of the buildings looked eh. Street seemed ok, nothing crazy. It seemed like the ONLY nice condo building on the block. Though, looks can be deceiving.

Any recommendations on places close to subway trains? Looking for a condo.. preferably new construction/renovation in the $300k range. Want to keep the commute under 30 min to Penn.
