Hi All,

I'm looking to go to a good cosmetology school that won't cost me so much money. I already have a BBA in Marketing and my goal is to become an instructor or do sales and marketing in the industry. Plus I'm just really into the art of styling and caring for hair.

Arrojo and Aveda are about 16,000k for the entire program. It seems like top stylists are coming from these schools. Would I be selling myself short if I were to go to less reputable school? Is there such thing in the world of beauty? Can anyone suggest good schools in the area?

Thanks!

aveda is basically the top in the country. my girlfriend goes to aveda currently, and has had friends go to other cosmetology schools and graduated, and my girlfriend still knows more than they do.

also for the state board exam to become licensed, aveda students have like a 99% passing rate on the first time.
