Does anyone know if I am able to park my car at the Jamaica LIRR station to walk someone inside and make sure they get on a train? I have a relative coming to visit and rather than drive them all the way back to LI we decided that taking the railroad would be better, since this will be in the evening. Is there safe parking? This would be on the weekend at night. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You def can park directly in front of it. Either have some in the car that can circle the block or park a block away and walk up. Where are you coming from?

You CANNOT park directly in front of it. You will be ticketed in a hot second.

There is some kind of parking lot on Sutphin Blvd/Archer but I'm not sure of their hours or anything else. I'm not really sure if you'd want to park there, though... that area is pretty shady in the evenings/nights.

I think your best bet would be to either 1. bring an extra person to drive the car around a few times as suggested above or 2. take the E train to the Jamaica LIRR and this way, you won't have to rush or anything.

I would also like to know where you're coming from. It would make it easier to give suggestions.
