Hello

We currently live in NYC, but are looking to move to the suburbs. We were warned services for our autistic son may not be as good the further away from the city we go. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with services for autism spectrum disorder (speech, occupational, physical therapies, applied behavior analysis) in terms of school. We are thinking New City or Monroe. Hopefully someone can help!
Thanks!

Who told you that about autism services not being good the further away from NYC you go? That is odd, as the Jowonio Pre School here in the Syracuse area has been great. I believe schools in the East Syracuse-Minoa SD and Syracuse City elementary school Ed Smith has been suggested as schools that offer good services for such students. I believe that Liverpool, Hamilton and Baldwinsville are pretty good in this area too.
