Washingtonville is cute but the school district isn't known to be one of the better ones in the area. Cute old main st area, oldest winery in the country, I think. It's a small town but I don't think many people there are "small town"...a lot of city transplants. I know someone who lives there now and has for years...her daughter attended the high school and now she doesn't want to send her son there. There are better towns and there are worse...its not a dangerous place or anything. Do your research and if you do decide on it I'm sure you will be fine.

Nice area but getting very built up. The main street can get very backed up at rush hour. Some real nice houses in that town.
