I will be relocating to NY and working in West Haverstraw.
Can someone please advise me on areas to live that are safe, clean, and nice to live. I would prefer to live south of West Havertraw (closer to the city), but still within a 10 mile drive to work.

The village of West Haverstraw is a small village (which included parts of Garnerville) next to Haverstraw, there are area's of both village that are pretty sketchy, But crime isnt a huge issue in either place. Stony Point is nice pretty much everywhere and is the next town up. All the area's within 10 minutes Closer to NYC are pretty pricey.
