Relocating to New Windsor or Cornwall, NY - Apartment complex recommendations (rental market, condo)

Hello-

I am relocating to New Windsor or Cornwall, NY and would love recommendations on apartment complexes. I am looking at Sycamore Gardens in New Windsor or Cantebury Squeare apartments in cornwall. Has anyone rented at those apartment complexes? Good or bad experience? Anywhere else I should be looking?

Are you in the rental market only? Rents here are overpriced for what you get; probably better to own a condo if you are an apartment dweller type. Unless you absolutely have to be here for work or family reasons, I would look to the southeast US for better values and to avoid the NY City influence/culture which permeates this area.
