I am looking for a pretty town. I do not want ugly areas that I feel I'd need to avoid. Safety is also a big thing for me!! I would like a family community and nothing that feels like a small city. I am looking to buy, and i do not want to spend over about $900,000. I will not be commuting to the city, but i would like to be withing about an hour. Scarsdale is beautiful, but very expensive. Is there a place like this in NY or are my standards too high?
