Hi All,

I recently moved to New Jersey from Florida around three months back. During my first month at NJ, I was planning a visit to a friend's place at Bayonne. Unfortunately, the GPS made me travel via Staten Island and I had no clue that the toll was gonna cost 12 bucks!

To cut a long story short, I had only 8 bucks with me and the clerk said that I would be receiving a mail in sometime for paying the toll. Now, the problem was that I was still holding a FL driving license at that time and it had been pointing to my old address at Florida. I immediately updated the mailing address to point to my current NJ address on the DMV website after reaching home on the same day. Also, I went to the USPS website and requested for an address change to enable forwarding any mails being sent to my old address.

Three months have passed away since that incident, I am yet to receive any mail from them to pay the toll. I am getting increasingly worried on this as I am not sure how this is gonna affect me. Also, I tried searching in the internet on whether I could find a point of contact to reach out to, but couldn't find anyone so far!

Guys, you are my last hope! Any pointers on how to proceed further would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Danny

Don't worry about it. You have likely gotten away with it.

Also join the 1990s and get EZ-PASS already.

You can only get an EZPass if you live in certain states. You also have to update your license to be one of those states. Give the guy a break!
