My son just received his junior license about a month ago in Pennsylvania. Is his out-of-state junior license able to get transferred to the New York equivalent? Or will he have to retake everything in NY. Has anybody ever been in a similar situation?
When my son received his NYS Junior license I called to see if he could drive in VT where we have a home. The junior license was only good in NY.
Long story short, you might want to see if there is any reciprocity between PA and NY and whether your son can use his PA junior license while waiting to get his NY one.

I'll definitely look into that. Thanks!
