Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone might have a tip for me on how to search for/find housing within Putnam County that fits my search parameters: the monthly rent cannot be over $550 a month, and it MUST be inside (not near) Putnam Co.
I know it's possible, because someone I know recently found a studio apartment for about $350/mo. in Patterson. The place was found through Hudson Valley Craigslist. I've been searching the Westchester, Hudson Valley, and NWCT Craigslists but have had little luck thus far. I've also tried the NY Pennysaver website.
I don't mind renting a room within a private home, but would prefer a small studio apartment or something similar.
Any advice?
