The goal of diversity had a lot to do with her admission to the Ivy League schools. Not to say that she was not an exemplary student, she was and is but when Harvard University rejected 94.2% of the class of 2018 amongst whom were H.S. valedictorians with perfect SAT scores, you know that this girl was pushed to the front of the admissions line.

This is probably the case, but also goes for those that get in based on legacies/connections like this article gets into:
At the elite colleges - dim white kids - The Boston Globe
So those with connections, money and history on their side may also get in and with even less merit.
I believe that she ended up going to Yale.
