There's a New York accent, and then we got the Italian New York accent. Are there any other? How similar and different are they? Are they ethnic, geographical or class related?

I think they're pretty much ethnic. Sometimes you'll meet people from different neighborhoods in Brooklyn and you can pick up on some differences. It varies a lot and depends on quite a few factors I would assume, however I'm not an expert by any means.
