A zip that surprises me is 13685(Sackets Harbor/77 rating). While it is a tourist town, given that it is the North Country and the General Brown and 1000 Islands SD's seem to get a rep for being the affluent SD's in that area, I thought that one of those 2 would have the highest rated zip in that area. Perhaps military officers, faculty/staff at Jefferson CC and higher ups at a few of the major companies live there.

A related list from the Albany Business Journal...#1 may surprise some people.

The wealthiest places in upstate New York, ranked: https://www.bizjournals.com/albany/n..._news_headline

I'm curious as to why Dutchess County was included, but not Orange County, as they are in the same metro area(Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown became its own metro again in 2018 after being a part of the NYC metro starting in 2013).

Are there any zips that you think are surprisingly on the list?

Also, as for a zip code that isn't on the list, I'm surprised that 13078(Jamesville) didn't make it ahead of the other 2 Onondaga County zips at the bottom of the list. Same with 13066(Fayetteville) and 13152(Skaneateles) as well.

Any others in regards to those that didn't make the list?
