Is there really a selection of really good Tibetan food in Ithaca? Also, does anyone raise yaks nearby?
I have lived here all my life of 48yrs...***'s I may have seen at a zoo, but not a one in a farmer's field. Closest we get are red fuzzy Scottish cattle (not really the same, but cute) and some bison out past Cortland. I'm also not sure about the Tibetan food scene here, but there is a lot of good ethnic food with goat & lamb, no *** if that's what you were shooting for. My best guess is to hang out with the Dali Lama at his monastery, here just outside of Ithaca, for the real deal on Tibetan cuisine.

Seriously, asterisks for the spelling of a shaggy ox on my post, but not any prior?
That is strange. And why didn't it happen in OyCrumbler's post?
