They are calling for snow on xmas even and chirstmas morning. At least for Rochester. So we're eagerly anticipating and expecting a white Christmas. Our first one in too long of a time!

It's very windy right now, but it's been snowing for a while now tonight. I've lived here all my life and only saw two green Christmas'. It was so depressing. Looks like we'll have a white Christmas too.
only 2? I remember more than that growing up; and I know that when we visited for Christmas in 2003 and 2004 it was a green christmas (it did snow christmas night in 2003, but I don't think that really counts). And I'm pretty sure, from what i remember my family telling me, that 2005 and 2006 were green christmas's too. I was under the impression this would be the first white christmas Rochester's had in a while.
I'minformed, You're about an hour away from us (weather depending, of course), I should have been more specific in my last comment, in Buffalo I only know of two green Christmas'.
Merry Christmas everyone.......!
I post a bit more on the Florida part, but have been a lifelong Western NY'er.
This will be my very first Christmas spent outside of Western NY.....I'm at the Florida house now, but fly back to western NY Thursday.
First Christmas with no snow, no kids....been here in Florida for the last 3 weeks....It's been strange hearing snowy Christmas songs in shorts and a tee shirt......Well, the sweaters will be back on by Thursday.
May everyone here have a blessed Christmas.......
