I believe that Hudson would work in this regard. Fort Edward near Hudson Falls and Glens Falls is another one. Rochester's is located in its Downtown. Plattsburgh and Port Henry would also work.

Good catch...While it’s median household income is relatively higher than many other cities, prosperous is the wrong word to use.
In the true sense, select walkable villages or city neighborhoods are likely to be a better fit.
