And shame on someone who wants to take the "free" stuff and then leave. The whole concept of taxpayers funding k-12 schools was that each subsequent generation would finance the next. That hasn't worked out to well either.

It's getting rid of garbage people in NY and that's good.
NYC no longer arrests people for marijuana and stop imprisoning prostitutes. Make all drugs and prostitution legal, end mass incarceration and the state has plenty of money to spend on other things.
All the people screaming about taxes likely send their kids to public school, have older people in their family on medicare AND medicaid (if they are going into a nursing home at some point medicaid gets involved if they aren't rich) and are using public services in others ways (if you have veterans in your family, they get all kinds of free stuff).
