I'm currently comparing a couple towns where I can take a job transfer with my company...Saratoga Springs or Farmington. Which would be the easier to find affordable rentals? I'm currently starting with the Saratoga area but it's not been too common finding at least a 1 bedroom that allows dogs for around $800...

Yes, Rochester when you are comparing Farmington vs. Saratoga Springs. In terms of Rochester, this may help: http://www.rentrochester.com/mobile/results.php

Yes that does look alot better, however I wonder if it's not completely impossible to find things near Saratoga. I still have to do some combing through, but I'll also try to check Rochester more as well.

One thing you may like about Farmington is that it's a 5 to 10 minute drive down to Canandaigua and Canandaigua Lake and about a 20-25 minute drive to downtown Rochester. So overall it's a really good location.

We haven't lived near a mall in almost 2 years so that would be good...
