Oh yea right - because the other liberals likely to be running in the primaries are obviously so much more appealing to registered dem voters

You think your animosity might be clouding your logic? Or are you just not very bright?

Yeah, sure, but don't you think they could have found this money within the current $155 billion budget?

There needs to be some balance between all of the "free" stuff that our very generous with OUR money government uses against us. Is it still worth it when the cost is loss of jobs and taxable income. As Margaret Thatcher used to say, "sooner or later you run out of other peoples money". NYS could do a much better job of managing taxpayer money, but will they? Rhetorical Question.

If you're gonna spew your leftist policies when you move, then please stay in NY. Don't go to a red state and start wanting higher taxes and bigger gov't there too. I'm asking nicely .

There's enough libs here in the south that are poisoning these red states and turning them purple as it is

Why do so many non New Yorkers hang out spewing negativity on the NY citydata forums?

Maybe paid fake troll accounts attempting to undermine Western Democracy? https://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/07/m...e-agency.html?

Still, it isn’t like all Republicans were on board with the bill. That is the point and makes some wonder why.

I do find it curious, as this has been the case on many threads in this forum. Not necessarily the more “political” threads either.

Before responding to posts - maybe you better check back to the posts people have already made. I voted Trump - these days I mostly vote Republican except for Schimminger who has been bipartisan. I'm a Kennedy Democrat - not a modern day Schumer/Pelosi democrat.

His dad was a failure and he's a failure - the only think WNY has achieved is the medical corridor - but how much of that Buffalo Billion is unaccounted for?

I see negativity on many of the state forums - whether it be directed towards the towns, counties or state itself. The primary reason are people are sick of those in govt - but unfortunately - can do little as their state has a disportionate number of one party or another. We'd love to leave today but will have to wait until retirement - which is the case for most on here.

NY has some great things to offer - food, beautiful scenery, arts, outdoor activities - but the state has tax or charges fees for every single one - making it hard for NYers to utilize them.

This is the 1st year that NY hasn't lost a significant amt of it's population in the years.

Because aside from a few other areas CD local forums are dead and or very slow. Just how much do you think happens in Podunk, USA worth some people going on line to talk or whatever about? NYS and various local sub forums have more traffic in one 24 hour period than some others in an entire week or even month.

The NYC forum is one of the most active on all of CD and yes, we get tons of posts from people who obviously don't live in New York or even the USA for that matter.
