Here is a top 25 list on nyup.com from Yelp: The 25 best places for hiking in Upstate New York, ranked for 2018 | NewYorkUpstate.com

Any omissions or places that could be swapped? A good and complete list?

I give this list an A+ for not being a slideshow!

Also, lots of great spots that aren't on NY's "sweetheart list" of outdoor spots. A lot of these are essentially locals's spots. And lots of downstate/Hudson Valley love.

Default Romantic journey

I used the service of a romantic journey through New York. Since I have never been in this city was very cool. Perhaps someone used similar services in other countries or cities? https://rooftopproposal.nyc/

Watkins Glen state park is happy place. Can't wait to take the kids there this summer when I head home.

I was thinking about Robert Tremain or Buttermilk Falls as well, but may not have time.

I will be passing through Erie county as I'm flying in and out of Toronto and also may head up to Rochester for the day...... Some decent looking options in that area that I never really went to growing up

I have hiked nine of these and enjoyed them all. I'm a bit surprised at the omission of the ADKs, but think this is more oriented toward the day trip hiker.
