I didn't watch the debate last night, but when I heard the following statement, I'm like Cuomo definitely need to be out of the office:

CUOMO: Can you stop interrupting?

NIXON: Can you stop lying?
CUOMO: As soon as you do.

Sounds to me that Cuomo has been lying this whole time simply because he said as soon as you do.

I personally think all politicians are corrupted one way or the other, but someone has to run for the office. As of now, I think I would like Nixon to replace Cuomo.

Sophie’s choice. NY loses with either candidate.

Even though I don't like the answer, but I do agree.

I watched a few minutes. I guess Nixon doesn't understand the concept of a debate. What I came away with is it's easy to be a critic but hard to do the job. Can't see where Nixon has any qualifications to be a governor. Lots of people now believe if you can criticise someone's performance it means you can do better than they do. It doesnt hold water. Everyone can criticize anything. Very few people can do even half as good a job as the person they are criticizing.

Where is Molinaro? He should be burying these two clowns on a daily basis. Most people probably don’t even know who he is and the elections are in 2 months.

He's campaigning like crazy upstate and on LI. According to Facebook he has an in-person town hall 4 or 5 days per week.

He'd better get down to NYC, or he doesn't have a prayer, upstate will probably vote for him anyway, but he needs to get a decent percentage of NYC voters.

Sadly NYC is a socialist cesspool.

Is he any better than the other 2 clowns? Seems like another career politician that has never had a real job or done anything productive in his life:

Quote:
Molinaro was first elected to public office at the age of 18 in 1994, serving on Tivoli's Board of Trustees. In 1995, he became the youngest mayor in the United States when he was elected Mayor of Tivoli. Molinaro was re-elected mayor five times, and was elected four times to the Dutchess County Legislature. In 2006, he was elected to represent the 103rd District in the New York State Assembly. In January 2011, at the recommendation of Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb, Governor Andrew Cuomo appointed Molinaro to serve on the Governor's Mandate Relief Redesign Team.[4] Molinaro served in the Assembly until 2011.

If he was running as a D, he'd be all over the news. He has done a decent job of managing the Dutchess County budget, he's strong on the environment, and he's particularly strong on inclusion/mental health support. He came from a disadvantaged background and is raising a young family.

I am a registered D and I'm really disillusioned by how this campaign season has played out in the press. All I ever hear about the poor guy is that he is a Trump mini-me, which is tired rhetoric in this state.
