I understand the rules, but the optics are horrible. You have a leader who refuses to allow malls or museums to open in NYC but takes an elective/optional trip to a state with a spike in cases?

Absolutely. I don't know anyone that thinks he did a good job with this, so how is he the expert? His own state is out of control as he's imposing further restrictions.
