I have photos of Vestal, which is located right next to Binghamton. Vestal is also home to Binghamton University's campus, strangely enough. I have had people pull up to me in downtown Binghamton asking for B.U.'s campus, and I need to inform them that it is actually on the Vestal Parkway, in the Town of Vestal.
These photos cover mainly the Vestal Parkway and vicinity; there is more to Vestal in the way of homes, but I wanted to give a quick overview of the area as it is the main shopping strip for Binghamton. Several hotels are to be found here also, as well as eating options.
As you go over the bridge to Vestal from Endicott, you come to The Plantation House Restaurant. This building is a restored 1844 Inn.

These shops are a way up the Parkway, next to the Town Square Mall.
Right behind these stores is the start of the 'Rail Trail'.
University Plaza--There is student housing here as well as some places to eat and a a few other things. This plaza is located past the main entrance to B.U. as you head down the Parkway to Binghamton.
Awesome pictures, it makes me homesick as well. There is just no place like home. I wish the job market wa better there. Excellent place to raise a family!
I may be accepting a job in Binghamton soon, and I was having a really hard time finding a place to live online. I'm currently in central FL and have a 50 lb dog, who is absolutely coming with me.
I was hoping someone might have an idea of where I should be looking for apartments or homes for rent? Google and all the usual websites just aren't pulling anything up for me.
In the city, the Westside tends to be a popular area. Vestal is very nice, as is Endwell, Port Dickinson and parts of the Johnson City and Endicott areas.
Thanks a lot! Hopefully those links will help a good deal.
