Maybe start by removing Typhoid Andy and Botulism Bill.
I agree. If nothing more, the "mental anguish" these two tyrants are forcing on the residents of NY is inexcuseable, and should be subject to legal action.
Ive been critical of him, but Im starting to feel empathy towards him. I think he really does want to do the right thing, and like everyone else, he cant be 100% sure of what the right thing is, nor can he make everyone happy, especially since we are all pretty miserable right now.
Hopefully, his people can focus on the basics. There has to be a balance between physical safety, and fiscal safety for the City, the State, and all of us individually. We cant stay shutdown indefinitely. The State and Government cant survive that way, and we as individuals cant survive that way.

How long can we hold our breathe, with our heads in the sand before we pass out, turn to dust and blow away in the wind? Vaccines will be good for those that want them, but they dont guarantee no sickness, or not spreading of anything even if you are vaccinated. So, Im missing the point - what I am I really waiting for? Ive come through the first wave and everything sense - did I really do that just to watch a great city, a great state, and a great nation crumble?
Life is short. I rather take my chances with COVID and be out living, than die miserably in the darkness of isolation all alone. Im not saying we shouldnt take precautions. I am taking precautions, but to what end?
In the end, be it by COVID, slipping in the bath tub, a stray bullet, etc, I am going to die one day. To me, how I die is not really important. What's important is how I live.
