While there are many YT videos about the Adirondacks..one of the better documentaries was put out via PBS. I am not a
PBS fan for numerous reasons...but the documentary about the ADK's ..past/present, was pretty darn good. I received the dvd I speak of..as a gift..some 10 years back..which I then loaned out to others..never to be returned. At any rate..a great overview of the ADK's for anyone interested . Speaking of the ADK's..a friend of mine I served with( long since back home...now in the path of that hurricane)..couldn't believe such a beautiful area(ADK's) was part of our state, on a tour I gave him of upstate NY.
